Cyprus income tax return TD.1 · 2025
Import the IR63A certificate your employer gave you, add anything it doesn't cover, and get every figure ready to type into TAXISnet. The 2025 return is the one filed now.

Start with the certificate. It fills most of the return
The IR63A (Form TD.63) your employer gives you for 2025 contains salary, contributions and tax withheld. Upload it, then add last year’s return for personal details to enter less by hand.
Or drag a PDF into this card.
The PDF is read on your device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
The extension transfers supported fields to TAXISnet 2025; review the remaining details and confirmations in the return.
Or drag one or more PDFs into this card.
Have last year's return (2024) to hand?
Upload the TD.1 PDF you filed (from TAXISnet, "Print the return"). Your name, T.I.C., address, dates of arrival and first employment, and your identity numbers are read off it. Income is not.
Or drag a PDF into this card.
Upload both documents to enter less by hand: IR63A fills in income, and last year’s return fills in personal details. You can continue if either document is unavailable.
Step 2
What did you earn in 2025?
Pick everything that applies. The return shows only the parts you tick.
If you physically worked outside Cyprus, it is easier to enter that salary under “Income from abroad”: you can choose a currency, such as RUB, and enter monthly amounts there. The “Employment” card accepts amounts in euros. Enter remote work performed from Cyprus for a foreign employer under “Employment”. Enter each income only once, in one section.
Have these to hand
Built from what you ticked. Fetching them now beats stopping halfway through.

How to prepare your Cyprus tax return
Use this helper to prepare your 2025 TD.1 income tax return for filing in 2026. For salary planning under the 2026 rules, use the tax calculator.
- Import your employer’s IR63A certificate or enter the amounts manually.
- Add income and deductions missing from the certificate, using your supporting documents.
- Review the calculation and resolve the flagged issues before transferring figures to TAXISnet.
- Check the figures in the official portal and submit the return yourself.
Is this a 2025 or 2026 tax return?
The helper prepares the return for income earned in 2025, filed in 2026. The salary calculator separately compares the 2025 and 2026 tax rules.
What do I need to fill in the Cyprus TD.1 return?
Start with your employer’s IR63A emoluments certificate. Have records for your other income, tax withheld, contributions and any deductions you claim. You can also enter the figures manually.
Does this tool submit my return to the Tax Department?
No. It prepares figures and highlights items to review. You check the entries and submit your return yourself in the official portal.
Is the Cyprus tax return helper free?
Yes. Preparing the return in this helper is free and does not require an account.
Can I file the Cyprus return if my 2025 income is below €19,500?
Yes. The threshold only says who must file; a return below it is accepted, and people file one to have proof of Cyprus tax residence and income for a bank or a passport application. From tax year 2026 the obligation no longer depends on income for residents aged 25 to 70.
Before you press Final Submit in TAXISnet
- Self-Assessment and Temporary Store are not a submission. The return counts as filed only after Final Submit, and the receipt number appears then.
- After Temporary Store the error list disappears from the screen. Nothing has been fixed: press Self-Assessment again; the list is also behind the Total Errors button at the top of every page.
- With employment code 1 the whole of section A2 must be empty. Dates or days left there produce three validation errors and block the calculation.
- Refunds go only to the IBAN in your Tax Department record. If it has changed, update it through Tax For All with form T.D.2008 before you file; the return itself cannot change it.
- Change to Temporary reopens a submitted return, but after the deadline the resubmission counts as late. Once the deadline has passed, ask the Tax Department before recalling anything.
- Paying through a bank needs the reference from Statement of Due Amounts in the Tax Portal. Without it the payment may not be matched to the debt.
